How to Overcome Stress

Stress is everywhere. Some of it is actually good and some is really bad. Negative stress is a reaction to a situation when how we would expect it to go isn’t met with the reality of the situation. Examples would be the wrong person being elected, somebody cuts you off on the freeway, financial strain, and even people not liking your Facebook post. Yes, all are stressors. Anytime we don’t feel safe, a primitive part of our brain signals our brain and body to prepare for a threat. In the old days, it was being chased by a hungry animal, but now it would be less severe, yet we have decided to have the same bodily response!

Because stress is everywhere, it becomes second nature and we don’t even know we have it or are experiencing it. I’ve put together a few videos for you on stress. My center, Mind Brain Solutions, offers education and resources to help with stress. The videos are located at HTTP://www.mindbrainsolutions.com/anxiety-stress-depression and I hope you find them helpful.
